Team Leaders

Be there for staff as well as customers

Home > Our Roles > Team Leaders

Being a Team Leader is the first step to management. You’ll provide guidance and support for your staff, but also work with our customers. If you want to build a future at Look Ahead, this is a great way to gain valuable experience. When you’re free to develop and progress, you can feel at home in your career.

You’ll be helping to manage a service day to day, which might be for people with mental health needs, learning disabilities or for those who are homeless. Alternatively, it could be for young people leaving care. You’ll resolve problems, deal with daily management and administration and make sure the service meets the high quality standards that we set ourselves.

At the same time, you’ll be there for your team, providing supervision, leading meetings and making sure everyone feels motivated. Part of that is developing people’s skills, so they can see their abilities grow - and so we can offer an even better service.
